Kongsberg Automotive (Norway) has its origins in Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk, which began producing brakes and drive shafts for Volvo in the late 1950’s.

Since then Kongsberg Automotive has developed from a Scandinavian automotive parts supplier to become a global leader in producing of components for clutches, gear boxes and other products.

Today, Konsberg’s facilities are stated worldwide: in Norway, Northern America, England, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Korea and Poland. Konsberg has over 10 000 employees.

The range of Kongsberg includes air hydraulic clutch boosters, master and slave cylinders of clutch linkage, automatic and manual transmissions control groups and valves, seat cooling and seat heating systems, clutch control and gearbox components etc.

Kongsberg is an OEM supplier to the leading European manufacturers of commercial vehicles and buses including Scania, Volvo, MAN, Mercedes, Iveco, Renault, DAF, Setra, Neoplan.
